Fauna Ventures has doubled down on its commitment to donate a portion of its proceeds to projects working to conserve butterflies. We are very excited to announce our new partnership with Sustainable Monarch. This charitable organization protects the native plants that butterflies need and promotes economic development through milkweed-based products and activities. They encourage sound stewardship of natural resources and work with Fauna Ventures to establish a network of reserves managed specifically to support butterflies. Sustainable Monarch’s mission is to fuel butterfly conservation by creating novel solutions that benefit local communities.

The nonprofit is acquiring properties through donations, partnerships, working with landowners on conservation easements, and developing economic incentives to bolster wildflower plantings.

Sustainable Monarch works most closely with landowners in the agricultural sector but encourages people of all backgrounds to plant for pollinators. We embrace innovative thinking and bringing new resources to butterfly conservation and are excited to be working with Sustainable Monarch on their unique approach! Fauna Ventures has committed a portion of ticket sales to help Sustainable Monarch secure properties through easements, cooperative agreements, and acquisitions that provide the resources butterflies need.
